I think Sharky’s Machine is also an end of a era for the procedural thriller movie which relied on pulling no punches, use of location to provide atmosphere, a gritty edge and flawed main characters. Sharky's machine, is made up of other guys from vice, supporting cast is great, and slowly ties all of these characters together, and end up jumping right into the middle of it.
